🐾 Alexa Veale
Alexa Veale is an animal rescuer, as well as an emergency veterinarian in the Denver area who works primarily during nights and weekends, during the hours in which most other veterinarians, animal shelters, and rescue groups are closed.
She functions as an emergent asset for animals who require rescuing during these after-hour periods. Most of the animals she rescues are at risk of premature euthanasia in the face of life threatening (but treatable) conditions. If only they can get the proper care they so desperately need in the middle of the night, they have a good chance at healing and getting a good quality of life for years to come.
